Works of James Joyce edition by James Joyce Literature Fiction eBooks
First of all, I greatly appreciate the work behind gathering together the work of this and other authors, and creating a compendium of all you might ever want to read by him/her, and offering it at an impressively low price. This is a good example of that concept. I rate it 3 stars for value. The errors I found (so far) made me deduct the 2 additional stars this would have otherwise received for a collection of excellent literature like this. However, since Joyce is a language artist, with some of his writings such as Finnegan's Wake or Ulysses being difficult to read even when represented correctly, it is bothersome to me to find numerous editing errors in the text.
Just in reading Dubliners I found (so far) six errors of this type. "on" instead of "one" as well as instances of missing or misplaced quotation marks or even whole words. I am still looking for a place/publisher/company that will sell eBooks at a reasonable price while conforming to the uniformly high standard of the print industry.
As an aside, I also have found such errors in other books not by mobi - most notably The Imperfectionists, a recent, modern "novel." Careless editing makes my reading of eBooks significantly less enjoyable. - Please do a decent job on these books - this is my plea to all eBook publishers.

Works of James Joyce edition by James Joyce Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Comments from the Publisher
The book was corrected on January 15th, 2009. The new version adds chapter links and titles.
MobileReference
"Complete" is a poor choice of words for this collection, since it does not include Finnegans Wake. Ulysses only has three accessible links corresponding to Parts I-III. There are no chapter links with their implicit titles.
Audiobook fans should know that there's a great audio version of Ulysses by Recorded Books Ulysses (unabridged)
Complete Works of James Joyce
Another first-class ebook from MobileReference. It looks and works great on my . Will buy from you again. Many thanks!
While the price is certainly good for this semi-complete collection the large number of simple spelling and formatting errors get in the way of enjoying these great works. Some sentences were unintelligible with the errors and I found myself wondering at times if this was some idiosyncratic usage of Joyce's or a simple spelling mistake. Finally got to the point I was too frustrated to continue, and I bought the equally low priced Delphi Classics version which so far has shown none of the formatting and spelling mistakes.
I've found the navigation in this book to be about the best you can expect to find. (Apparently, they've fixed this since some of the earlier reviews.) To get this much for $1.50, seems like I'm stealing it. As I work at piecing together my e-library on , this was a welcome addition, and virtually free.
Another excellent collection from MobileReference. I purchased a few of those and really satisfied with each one of them. The collections are inexpensive and well thought through. They have not one but several tables of contents that organize books by category, alphabetically, and by their publication time. So finding a book is really easy. Furthermore, if you want a quote, you can search the collection ebook and that searches all individual books at once.
